Fiona Laugharn
With more than a decade of experience in museums, auction houses, galleries, and arts nonprofits, I pair rigorous art-historical scholarship with art-market insight. I hold a BA in Art History (Bard College) and an MA in Contemporary Art Theory (Goldsmiths, University of London), along with certificates in Nazi-era provenance research (University of Denver), cultural-heritage law (Tulane Law School / University of Siena), and the Appraisers Association of America’s Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program.
I am also a USPAP-compliant Associate Candidate Member of the Appraisers Association of America.
I believe diligent research in the present preserves an artwork’s past for the future. From curating exhibitions to collaborating with artists, stewarding estates, uncovering forgotten provenances, and guiding collectors, my work is united by one conviction: art’s power lies in the human stories we safeguard and share.
